Agnes Willenborg is Dean of the schools Creative Transformation and Arts & Economics at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht. She has more than 35 years of experience working in the creative transformation space as a Designer, Strategist, Board Member, and Managing Director for some of the leading agencies and consultancies. She also developed, executed, and managed educational programs for higher education in Digital Design, Creative Leadership and Transformation Design.
Agnes believes that opportunities for change can be found in the collaboration and integration of disciplines, domains and perspectives. And creative design methodologies are the enablers for transformative change that contributes to an inclusive, meaningful and sustainable society. Driven by a diverse range of experiences, she has devoted many years to developing innovative methods that incorporate key aspects of creativity and design. Agnes designed, supervised, and implemented innovation and transformation processes for government bodies, social organisations and businesses operating at both the national and international levels. Agnes applies design as a means of developing commitment, meaning, and identity, and implementing transformative innovations. Her main ambitions are to develop peoples’ capacity for continual transformation.
