Gisele Raulik Murphy, Brazilian designer, has a PhD in public policies for design and innovation. She has worked on design promotion programmes in South America and Europe for Centro Brasil Design, Design Council (UK) and Design Wales (UK), where she established the EU funded SEE project, a collective of European design organisations to share experiences and expertise in policies for design and innovation. Gisele is a founding partner of the design management and policy consultancy DUCO Design Intelligence. Recently, she has worked as Innovation Advisor at Paraná State Government (Brazil). Among her challenges was the implementation of agile methodologies and design thinking within the Government teams in order to create the capabilities to improve and digitalise public services. Gisele is a Director of the Design Professional Association PróDesignPr and a Board Member at Centro Brazil Design.
