Nuria Matarredona Desantes is an architect, teacher and researcher. She holds a doctorate from the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Her academic career is consolidated in universities such as the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, the National Autonomous University of Mexico or the Polytechnic University of Madrid, specializing in the conservation of architectural heritage and sustainable development of local communities.
She has participated in numerous specialized publications and forums. She is currently responsible for the Dirección General de Innovación Ecológica en la Construcción of the Vicepresidencia Segunda y Conselleria de Vivienda y Arquitectura de la Generalitat Valenciana, from where he promotes the transfer of knowledge and the development of public policies in the field of sustainable architecture, promoting innovation applied as a response and promoting the improvement of the spaces we inhabit in a responsible manner with the environment and people.
